Leeds send pitch invasion evidence

Carlisle won a penalty shootout 6-5 in their Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Area final to book their place in the Wembley showpiece but afterwards Leeds claimed three of their players were punched or pushed after hundreds of jubilant fans spilled on to the pitch.[LNB]Leeds, who have lodged an official complaint with the FA, have now confirmed the players involved in the incident will not be pressing charges against the Carlisle supporters.[LNB]A club statement read: "Further to the pitch invasion at the end of the penalty shoot-out at Carlisle on Tuesday, the Leeds United players involved are not going to ask for charges to be brought against the Carlisle supporters involved.[LNB]"The club is to forward the evidence at its disposal to both the Football Association and the Football League in relation to the matter so they can consider what action, if any, is required."[LNB]Leeds also want Cumbria Police to identify the supporters who are shown making physical contact with Shane Lowry or other players on pictures taken from the footage on Sky Sports and consider what action should be taken against them.[LNB][LNB]
