The veteran midfielder had looked unlikely to make the kick-off after sustaining a shoulder injury but is now set to face Blackpool on Tuesday night as a pre-cursor to the season opener with Brentford. "Kav said he was feeling no pain yesterday (Monday) and we are hopeful it eases up and he is free of the problem now," manager Greg Abbott told the News and Star. "He now needs to get a run of games and training to get his fitness where it needs to be. "As for the start of the season, that isn't even an issue. He is as fit as a fiddle and we need him out there."
