Hornets set for Graham decision

The two clubs were set to go before a tribunal on Monday to decide the amount of compensation the Hornets should pay United for the former Middlesbrough frontman, but Watford postponed the hearing because football operations manager Iain Moody is running the club's pre-season tour of Spain. That prompted United manager Greg Abbott to accuse the Hornets of bad etiquette as he is eager to use the funds to bring in a replacement before the new season starts on August 8, and Abbott has now expressed his frustration with the new date for the tribunal. He told Carlisle's official website: "It's frustrating that it has been set for that date because it is two days before our first game of the season and we should be concentrating on that. "However, I have to be at the tribunal to give my opinion on the football side of it. "Obviously it is still also very unclear as to what the fee is going to be, so we're not even in a position to make a guess on that. It's not an ideal situation at all, but we have to get on with it."
