Harte header sinks Hibs

Ian Harte`s late header handed Carlisle an impressive 1-0 victory over Scottish Premier League side Hibernian to round of the League One side`s pre-season fixtures in style. The defender managed to find sufficient space at the near post to convert James Berrett`s corner and hand the Cumbrians a morale-boosting victory. Manager Greg Abbott will take a host of positives into next Saturday`s season opener at home to Brentford, while Hibs boss John Hughes still has two weeks to tinker ahead of their first match at Motherwell. Manchester United defender James Chester, who is on the verge of securing a loan deal to Brunton Park, performed admirably against a Hibs side who threatened occasionally but were second best on the overall balance of play.
