Carlisle have been boosted ahead of the trip to Walsall after extending the loan spell of Leeds forward Mike Grella until January. The 23-year-old joined the Cumbrians last month on an initial one-month deal and impressed, netting two goals in six appearances. Boss Greg Abbott could again field James Chester at left-back against the Saddlers, while Tom Taiwo is facing a suspension if he collects his fifth booking of the season at the Banks's Stadium. Leading goalscorer Gary Madine expects to return to full training in time for next Saturday's home clash with Rochdale. The 20-year-old, who has hit 11 goals this season, limped out of Saturday's 3-2 win over Southampton due to a foot injury sustained midway through the second half.
