Carlisle defender Lubo Michalik and midfielder Liam Noble could return to the squad for the home clash with Plymouth. On-loan Hull defender Liam Cooper will miss out through suspension, though, after his dismissal at Peterborough at the weekend. Michalik has missed the last six games due to a torn hamstring, but manager Greg Abbott could turn to the Slovakia international following Saturday's 6-0 thrashing and the latest injury sustained by fellow centre-half Danny Livesey (hamstring). Noble, on loan from Sunderland, will return to contention after a one-match ban, while Abbott could hand a late fitness test to winger Ben Marshall, who was forced off on Saturday following a late challenge by Posh defender Mark Little. Skipper Paul Thirlwell returned to the substitutes' bench at Peterborough and could feature following his recovery from a calf injury.
