Carlisle strikers Ryan Bowman and Nahki Wells will not have their contracts renewed at the end of the season. Wells, 20, signed a short-term contract with the Cumbrians in January following a successful trial period and made three substitute appearances this season, while academy product Bowman, 19, was handed a one-year professional deal last summer. He has featured on nine occasions for Greg Abbott's side. Abbott said: "It's always horrible to have to tell a young man that he won't be getting a contract. It's even worse when they're two genuine and likeable lads like these. "What we have had to do is look to next season and make a decision, however tough that may be, and the decision on this occasion is that we have to let them move on."
