The England Under-20 international will be with the Cumbrians until January 2 and Abbott believes the 20-year-old will prove to be a shrewd acquisition.[LNB]He told the club's official website: "We're really looking forward to working with him. He was on the brink of the first team last season but with the arrival of the likes of Robinho and Gareth Barry, it has become very competitive.[LNB]"City have been fantastic with us and they see this as an opportunity for their player to come in and help us by giving us some depth in a key position.[LNB]"He is very similar to Paul Thirlwell in the way that he plays and he definitely isn't shy when it comes to putting a tackle in. He also has a good range of passing and we think he will fit in nicely with the way we want to do things."[LNB][LNB]
