Carlisle have signed defender Miguel Comminges on-loan from Cardiff. In a bid to improve his fitness, the 28 year-old will stay at Brunton Park until December 31 and manager Greg Abbott is delighted to have signed a player that will bolster his defensive options. "We need some defensive cover and Miguel will provide that," he told the club's official website. "He's a player that we know a lot about and we are delighted that he is coming to join us. He had a great time at Swindon and was progressing well at Cardiff, but his injury forced him out of the side. "A lot of hard work has been done to get him back to match fitness and this move will give him a chance to get in and around our first-team squad."
