Cumbrians handed Crewe draw
Carlisle will take on Crewe in the northern section quarter-final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Last season's runners-up host Dario Gradi's side in the week beginning November 8.
United boss Greg Abbott said: "The most you can ask for is a home draw and we've got that. It will be another tough game."
