Armann Bjornsson and Andy Monkhouse found the net for Hartlepool in the opening and closing stages of Tuesday's League One clash at Brunton Park, but goals in between from Ian Harte, Tom Taiwo and Matty Robson made it three straight wins for the Cumbrians amid atrocious weather conditions.[LNB]United are now up to 12th and Abbott said: "Confidence is high but we haven't got to get carried away. We are a work in progress but we are making strides and gaining in belief.[LNB]"We got off to a shocking start but at least at the moment when we concede you feel there are goals in the side and that gives you a chance.[LNB]"I am concerned about our inability to close down games. It was no game for pretty football but we are scoring and playing some attractive football and we have belief."[LNB]Former Pools winger Robson grabbed a goal against his former team and said: "You always want to put one over on your old club. There's a feeling of confidence right through the side at the moment."[LNB][LNB]
