The 24-year-old left Brunton Park to join League One rivals Colchester for an undisclosed six-figure fee earlier this week.[LNB]Abbott, whose side welcome the Us to Brunton Park this weekend, told the News & Star: "Simon had an opportunity to talk to Colchester, he decided to do that, the package they came up with was obviously a good one, and we have to get on with it now.[LNB]"If that position isn't filled by players we have got at the club, we will have to find people who will do the job for us.[LNB]"We are not going to rush into buying somebody just for the sake of it. We will wait, look at the situation, and if the right player is available and we can get him, we will do something about it.[LNB]"That goes for every position. At the minute, I am quite comfortable with the squad I've got. They have done terrifically well and we have got to look at them and praise them, rather than look at who we are going to replace."[LNB][LNB]
