Cumbrians check on duo

Lubo Michalik and Francois Zoko need late fitness tests ahead of Carlisle's trip to Bristol Rovers. Defender Michalik has missed the last five matches due to a hamstring strain while striker Zoko was forced out of the home defeat to Charlton last week due to a badly gashed shin. Carlisle will be without on-loan Manchester United pair Oliver Norwood (thigh) and James Chester (knee). Both players have returned to Old Trafford to have their respective injuries assessed. Skipper Paul Thirlwell is making steady progress in his rehabilitation following a knee injury and remains three weeks away from a return to full training while long-term absentee Danny Livesey (groin and hamstring) came through unscathed after 60 minutes for the reserves in midweek.
