The Cumbrians are currently four places above the relegation zone and Abbott is confident he can improve their fortunes if given more time.[LNB]He told the club's official website: "Myself and (assistant Dennis Booth) are fine with the situation.[LNB]"We think that we're taking the club forward now. We've had a real tough time of it all in spells, particularly when we tried to turn it around just after we took over, and we think we're getting there now.[LNB]"Hopefully the board and fans see it that way as well. The players are definitely with us in what we are trying to do, and this club has a lot going for it at the moment. I hope that something will sort itself out soon.[LNB]"I don't like to go anywhere or do anything and leave it in a worse situation than when I arrived. My personal opinion is that we have improved it and I hope that people do agree with that."[LNB][LNB]
