The Cumbrians agreed a fee of £75,000 with Hamilton for the striker earlier in the week, as well as sorting out personal terms with the 25-year-old.[LNB]Yet despite signing a contract with the Brunton Park outfit on Tuesday, Offiong has so far been unable to complete the move owing to a delay with the transfer of his registration.[LNB]"We are now dealing with a host of complex issues including international clearance," United's co-owner John Nixon told his club's official website.[LNB]"Our aim is to have it all done by midday tomorrow (Friday) so that the player will be eligible for Saturday.[LNB]"We have our club secretary working hard on the issue back up in Carlisle so, hopefully, this will all be cleared up quickly."[LNB][LNB]
