Collin celebrates Cumbrian cup glory

Carlisle goalkeeper Adam Collin has labelled Sunday`s Johnstone`s Paint Trophy triumph as the highlight of his career but is already targeting further success with the club. Collin finished with a runners-up medal 12 months ago as the Cumbrians were unravelled by Southampton, but he banished the nightmares of that day with a clean sheet and a fairly quiet afternoon against Brentford as United emerged victorious at Wembley courtesy of Peter Murphy`s solitary strike. The 26-year-old told Carlisle`s official website: "This is a fantastic feeling. We all wanted to put it right after last year and I think, with the way we played, we fully deserved the win. "It`s just a great achievement for everyone and I think we were really focused going into this game. There was a determination to do things right and I don`t think many people will argue with the result. "It`s good that we`ve brought a bit of success to the club and to see the way the fans stayed behind and clapped us makes it all worthwhile. They deserved that as much as anyone. "It`s definitely the high point of my career so far but we think there`s more to come from us. If we can keep improving the way we are then hopefully we`ll have more days like this."
