Carlisle boss Keith Curle to pick from same squad

Carlisle boss Keith Curle has no new injury concerns for his side's 'home' game against Plymouth at Ewood Park.

The Cumbrians' last two games were postponed, while this is their second home fixture to be played at an alternative venue to due flood damage at Brunton Park.

Defender Tom Miller has missed the last four games with a hamstring injury and remains doubtful, but midfielder Luke Joyce is expected to return to the squad following a groin problem.

Curle's side, seventh in the table with games in hand on their rivals, have won four and drawn two of their last six matches.

Plymouth boss Derek Adams could select an unchanged starting-line-up for a third successive match.

Ben Purrington and Josh Simpson are pushing for starts after impressing as substitutes in the 2-1 victory at Newport, but Adams is likely to retain the same team.

Midfielders Hiram Boateng and Graham Carey will not feature in any capacity due to their respective ankle and knee injuries.

"We are hopeful that we see them back fit and ready for the new year, but it will definitely not be for Carlisle," Adams said.
