Carlisle could welcome back Jason Kennedy for Accrington clash

Carlisle boss Keith Curle expects to have a full squad from which to choose as his side looks to maintain their unbeaten start to the Sky Bet League Two campaign at home to Accrington.

Jason Kennedy is close to a return from the knock which has kept him out of the last three games with Curle having to juggle a series of options.

He made three changes for Tuesday night's remarkable 5-4 Checkatrade Trophy victory at League One Oldham with Max Crocombe, Shaun Brisley and Shaun Miller all starting, although Mark Gillespie, Nicky Adams and Jabo Ibehre are all likely to return.

The Cumbrians have lost just once in eight games in all competitions so far this season, and that defeat came 14-13 on penalties to Sky Bet Championship Derby in the EFL Cup.

Accrington will be without Mark Hughes as he serves a suspension following his red card against Morecambe last Saturday.

But fellow defender Zak Vyner could make his debut after joining on loan from Bristol City.

There is a chance of forward Terry Gornell making his comeback from a groin injury, while midfielders Jordan Clark and Scott Brown (calf) remain doubts.

Forward Shay McCartan is unavailable as he is with Northern Ireland Under-21s.
