Booth calls for United consistency

The Cumbrians recorded a vital 2-0 win over Brighton, only to follow it up with a 2-1 home defeat to Stockport on Saturday.

The defeat left the Blues 16 points adrift of the play-offs and Booth believes their inability to put a run together could be decisive.

Booth told the News and Star: "We're upset about the inconsistency and not being able to put seven or eight games together.

"If you are going to win anything or get in and around the top you must do that.

"Unfortunately, we haven't been able to do that this season. It's what we have got to do if we are to get in the shake-up."
