Abbott wants Wembley return

Carlisle manager Greg Abbott is eyeing a return visit to Wembley in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy after his side progressed to the Northern Area semi-finals with a 3-1 win against Crewe. An own goal from Clayton Donaldson put the Cumbrians ahead, and two further strikes from Peter Murphy made Donaldson`s effort mere consolation. Abbott said, "We played our strongest team again and progressed to the next round which I am delighted with. Their goal knocked us back when we were coasting, but we got a third goal and ran out reasonably comfortable winners. "It's job done and another win under our belts. "It wasn't perfect but it certainly wasn't a bad performance. James Berrett is doing a terrific job and his set-pieces have gone from the `cor blimey` to the sublime, and the lads are getting on the end of it. "Peter Murphy has a decent record of getting on the end of stuff. It's timing. When games are tight and you can get goals from corners it's a big advantage for you."
