Madine, 19, has impressed Sky Blues boss Chris Coleman during a three-month spell at the Ricoh Arena despite failing to find the net in nine appearances from the the bench.[LNB]But Abbott has reported little progress in negotiations, and he is keen to run the rule over Madine once more after failing to secure the services of former Stoke forward Vincent Pericard.[LNB]"We need to see how he has weathered since he has been away at Coventry," Abbott told BBC Radio Cumbria.[LNB]"They have been very quiet and probably pushing it right to the wire to see what our thoughts are," he said.[LNB]"But the ball is in their court at the minute and we are waiting to hear from them."[LNB][LNB]
