Abbott: United are on the up
Goals from Joe Anyinsah, Danny Livesey and Ian Harte gave the Cumbrians a comfortable win at Brunton Park.
"It was a good performance and we got the breaks we needed and created loads of chances," said Abbott. "We are building this club, and while I'm not singing from the treetops, we are heading in the right direction."
Matty Robson was a persistent threat against Rovers and Abbott added: "Matty provided an excellent supply of crosses. When he plays with pace and power, he is a handful for anybody."
