Abbott to make Addo decision

Carlisle manager Greg Abbott could decide whether to hand Ghanaian triallist Ransford Addo a deal at the end of the week. Addo, younger brother of Ghana international Eric Pappoe Addo, can play in defence or midfield and was most recently with Royal Antwerp in Belgium where he played 60 games and scored one goal. Abbott, who will watch the 27-year-old in a reserve fixture against Tranmere in midweek, said: "Addo joined us on Monday and he'll be with us this week. "He's enjoyed the sessions so far and this is a chance for us to see him in a competitive environment. "He came to us with a good recommendation, so we're taking a look at him now and we can look at it again at the end of this week."
