Abbott takes point

Carlisle manager Greg Abbott admitted his side barely deserved their point from the 0-0 draw with Swindon. Town striker Charlie Austin should have won it for the visitors but blasted the ball wildly over the crossbar with the goal at his mercy in time added on. Abbott said: "They probably thought they should have won looking at the good chances they had late on. "But I think the fans have seen, if not the greatest performance, a terrific work ethic. "We're second in the league so I won't get too disappointed. It's not a time to be critical of ourselves. We got a point without being at our best and we're relieved with one player having an off day in front of goal, but I will take that. "If anyone deserved to win it, it was Swindon. But we're still unbeaten and second in the table, which is a positive even if we didn't reach the heights."
