Abbott satisfied after draw

Carlisle manager Greg Abbott was happy to come away with a point after the 1-1 draw with Rochdale. The Cumbrians led after Gary Madine headed in a James Berrett corner after 21 minutes, but Rochdale equalised just after the hour when Lubo Michalik was sent off for bringing down Nicky Adams in the area and Gary Jones netted the penalty. Abbott admitted: "It was probably a point gained. "We kept a decent shape and worked hard to deny them any scoring opportunities. We had some good situations in the first half but couldn`t quite get that final pass and the all-important second goal. "Credit to Rochdale. They came back at us and asked us a few questions after half-time and in the end I would probably settle for a point." The penalty and red card decision looked harsh, and Abbott added: "If that was a penalty there were two others in the game, one for each side."
