Sofiene Zaaboub glided past a couple of Carlisle defenders before going to ground under Paul Thirlwell's challenge and substitute Michael Ricketts coolly tucked away the 83rd-minute spot-kick. Abbott's side, who wasted a string of chances, took a 19th-minute lead when Thirlwell fired home from 20 yards.[LNB]Abbott said: "In the first half we did enough to win two games. We created enough chances to be well up but in the second half Walsall put us under a lot of pressure.[LNB]"Whether it was a penalty, I won't make excuses. Their player looked to go down a bit easily. Thirls says he put the ball past him brushed into him and went down. I think it was clever.[LNB]"The lads acquitted themselves well. Players were thrown in and dealt with it. We have made honest mistakes."[LNB][LNB]
