Abbott remaining grounded

Gary Abbott has revealed that he is happy with the way in which his Carlisle side have started the season but insisted the hard part will be to keep it going. The Cumbrians are yet to lose this season and have so far amassed 12 points from a possible 18. They occupy second place in League One behind Peterborough after causing an upset by beating Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 at Hillsborough. Abbott told the club's official website: "We are happy with the way things have gone. "We're pleased with the performance on Saturday and with the progress that we have been making. The difficult side of it all now is to try and keep it going. "The expectation levels are up now but we're still in the early stages of the season. If we're still where we are now in another 10 games then the first part of the job will definitely been done."
