Abbott: New faces not the answer
The Cumbrians are without a win in seven League One games and have dropped into the bottom four, but Abbott is not in the market for reinforcements.
He told the News & Star: "The other day, Leeds United had five players on the bench on over £5,000 a week. That must make life a bit easier for you as a manager.
"We haven't got that luxury, but I'm not making excuses. We've got a squad we think is good enough.
"I said that from the off and I maintain that. We've got to make sure we find the solutions from within, from what we have."
