Abbott laments Cumbrians display

The Cumbrians looked out of form from the offset and an own-goal from defender Danny Livesey and a late strike from David Perkins gave Paul Lambert's men victory.[LNB]Abbott admitted: "We helped them on the way and were poor from start to finish. That was just not acceptable and to a man we were below par.[LNB]"There was no spark in the game. We were dead. We are 18th in the league and if we play like that we will be going further backwards.[LNB]"I am disappointed, angry and upset. But this is life as a manager beginning for me. We handed the result over without much sign of battling back."[LNB]Abbott added: "They were better than us on the day but didn't have to be brilliant to win the game. It was a comedy of errors. It was schoolboy stuff from start to finish. As soon as we conceded the first goal we didn't look like scoring. We got nothing and we deserved nothing out of the game."[LNB][LNB]
