Abbott keen to move on

Carlisle manager Greg Abbott will waste no time stewing over the controversial dismissal of defender Gary Borrowdale in the weekend defeat at Southampton. Borrowdale, on loan from QPR, was sent off for two yellow card offences in his first start for the Cumbrians following tackles on Southampton's Alex Chamberlain. Abbott said: "All I can say about the sending off is that it wasn't a sending off in my opinion. "There's no point in trying to follow that up with the referee because he will tell us that it was. Talking to the referee is not something that I tend to do after the game." Carlisle turned in a battling display to restrict Southampton to a solitary goal from Rickie Lambert and Abbott added: "Gary is feeling aggrieved and I think all of the lads are, but we have told them all that we can take plenty of positives. "We need them to keep those levels of drive and commitment and we will cause problems for any side we play."
