Carlisle manager Greg Abbott has declared his players are "exactly where he wants them to be" following the friendly win over Darlington. The Cumbrians cruised to a 3-0 victory on Saturday and with two weeks to go before the npower League One season kicks off, Abbott has been impressed by his players. He said: "We've been really pleased with the pre-season schedule so far. Things step up again next week with games against Falkirk and Middlesbrough and a good home game against Hibs next Sunday. "We really are starting to focus on what will be an important opening week of the season because we have some tough games coming up. "The lads are exactly where I would want them to be at this stage, so it's now a case of fine tuning things so that we are as ready as we can be when we kick off against Brentford."
