Abbott happy to get cup job done

A fifth-minute strike from Joe Anyinsah was enough to give the Cumbrians the victory and earn them a money-spinning second-round tie against Norwich at Brunton Park, although Abbott conceded his side didn't have it all their own way.[LNB]He said: "We had a real desire to win the game and although we had a lack of quality we saw the game out. It's been a tough tie to get through because Morecambe have given us two really tough games.[LNB]"I'm sure everyone at the club is delighted that we are into the hat for the second round because there are a few teams who were knocked out by lower league opponents who would like to be in our shoes.[LNB]"We know we weren't at our best in the game and we need to produce more quality, especially up front, but the main thing is to get through and that is what we did.[LNB]"It wasn't pretty at times but I thought we defended really well and Lenny Pidgeley didn't really have a decent save to make for all their possession."[LNB][LNB]
