Abbott: Draw was a fair result

Goals from Scott Dobie and Ben Marshall inside the opening 13 minutes made life tough for the Shrimpers but two goals in three minutes from Franck Moussa and Adam Barrett put Southend back on level terms.[LNB]Abbott said: "I'm disappointed we have not got three points out of a game where we have got ourselves into a winning situation, but after they came back a draw is probably a fair result. We are a young side and we all make mistakes.[LNB]"We gave them a problem or two but you cannot come here and be out-battled because they are a side who will bully you.[LNB]"Barrett has been sent off because he has consistently fouled people, but I would rather him not be sent off because they need him here.[LNB]"I'm staggered Southend are where they are at the moment, but it's one of those games where we have not got beat, no-one has got injured, so we will take it."[LNB][LNB]
