Violent conduct charge for Davis

Crystal Palace defender Claude Davis has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association for elbowing Cardiff's Roger Johnson. The on-loan Derby player was not punished at the time for the challenge, which led to defender Johnson spending two nights in hospital. City were incensed by the incident and called for an FA review.
