Unhappy Parry quits Wales

Cardiff City winger Paul Parry has quit the Wales squad ahead of Wednesday's World Cup qualifier against Russia in Moscow.

The 28-year-old is reported to have clashed with Wales boss John Toshack after being left on the substitutes bench for Saturday's 1-0 win over Azerbaijan at the Millennium Stadium.

Parry, who was expected to start in Moscow, had only returned to the international fold following a 17-month absence due to personal reasons.

The former Hereford United player won 12 international caps after making his debut in 2004.
