Rae demands consistent Bluebirds

Published: 11 Mar 2010 - 11:35:00

The Bluebirds sank to a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Ipswich in midweek, with only keeper David Marshall saving Dave Jones' side from suffering a heavier scoreline. Rae admits Cardiff deserved nothing at Portman Road and told the South Wales Echo: "If we play like we played against Ipswich we've got no chance of doing anything this season. You can forget it. "You would be lying if you said this inconsistency is not a concern. One time we are right on top of our game and then the next time we are putting in a performance like we did at Ipswich. It's strange, but something we have to sort out. "If we can get the results we will be right up there, but we have to do better than we did against Ipswich or we won't do it. It's very important we bounce back against Leicester but it will be a tough game up there."
