McCormack happy at Cardiff

Cardiff City striker Ross McCormack has pledged to stay at the club whether they win promotion to the Premier League or not.

McCormack, 22, has been linked with several Premier League sides after finding the net 23 times in all competitions this season.

But even if the Bluebirds fail to win promotion from the Championship this year, the Scotland striker will not look to move on in the summer.

"We still have a real chance of making it into the Premier League, but if we don't make it this time I'd love to help Cardiff again next season," he told the South Wales Echo.

"I've settled with my girlfriend in Cardiff and I'm enjoying my football more than ever.

"I want to play in the Premier League and I want to do that with the Bluebirds. I will only leave if the chairman Peter Ridsdale wants to sell me.

"If he decides to do that because it's right for the club's finances then I'll move on. But this is the happiest time of my career and moving is not on my mind."
