Midfielder Joe Ledley has dropped a strong hint that he is keen to leave Cardiff City despite claims from manager Dave Jones that him will remain at Ninian Park.
The 21-year-old Wales international is rumoured to be wanted by Premier League sides Stoke City and Everton in January and has welcomed reports of a potential move away from the Bluebirds.
"I think I'll be subject of more rumours because I have been playing well," he is quoted as saying just 24 hours after Jones revealed his determination to keep hold of the rising star.
Speaking about a potential contract extension with the Championship club, he added: "There has been no contract talks so what else can I do if no-one has offered me a new contract?
"If I keep working hard and doing well then I could be here or wherever.
"I'm a Cardiff City player and I look forward to playing football for Cardiff.
"I definitely want to play in the Premier League, every boy wants to play in the Premier League, and that is one thing I haven't achieved yet - but hopefully I can do it with Cardiff."
