Cardiff City will be without Joe Ledley for a month after the Wales international dislocated his finger at the weekend.
The 21-year-old midfielder has been told he requires surgery after picking up the injury during Saturday's 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Ninian Park.
Ledley was injured when scoring the winner but will now undergo surgery on Tuesday.
The midfielder will therefore miss Wales' friendly against Denmark this week.
"Joe Ledley will undergo surgery to his finger on Tuesday," read a club statement. "This will mean Joe will be out for up to a month."
