Ledley stay key for Bluebirds

Cardiff City manager Dave Jones is determined to try and keep star midfielder Joe Ledley at the club by agreeing a new, extended contract. The 21-year-old Wales international is a rumoured target for the likes of Everton and Stoke City, with talks over a new deal set to start at Ninian Park, with Ledley's current contract running out at the end of next season. Jones told the South Wales Echo: "We want to keep Joe. "I've read Everton are coming in with £6million, but they don't have that sort of money. "Let the price keep going up and up and up. We are trying to keep all our players, but if the right price comes in for any players we have to survive. "That's the parameters I know I have to work within. If we are doing well then maybe the players won't want to leave. "Everybody at this club wants only one thing, Premier League football."
