Ledley likely to make Bluebirds exit

According to reports, the Wales international has rejected a new deal with the Bluebirds and the club are now forced to consider offers with his current contract set to expire next year, meaning they could lose the 22-year-old for a small fee. The midfielder, regarded as Cardiff's prize asset, met with the Welsh club's hierarchy last week to discuss his future but that now looks to lie elsewhere unless the two parties can salvage the situation. Ledley has been the subject of repeated bids from Stoke within the last 12 months and Tony Pulis is again expected to be knocking on the door this time around with their Premier League status secure, while Everton are also believed to be keen on the £6million rated man. Ledley has repeatedly stressed his desire to play in England's top flight and hoped he would get the chance to do so with his hometown club, but their failure to secure a play-off place on the final day of the season means he is unlikely to lead Cardiff out in their new stadium come August.
