Ledley blow for Bluebirds

Cardiff City midfielder Joe Ledley will miss the rest of the season after breaking a bone in his foot.

The 18-year-old Wales Under-21 international was injured during training on Monday and Bluebirds boss Lennie Lawrence has confirmed the bad news.

He told the club's official website: "Joe picked up then injury in training today. It was an unfortunate injury that happened as Joe turned, there was no contact from anyone else.

"We expect him to have his foot in plaster for around three or four weeks, though the physios can confirm more.

"As a result he will obviously miss the remaining games this season."
