Cardiff City boss Dave Jones is unsure whether the change of manager at Sunderland will affect his chances of keeping hold of Michael Chopra.
The striker rejoined the Bluebirds on loan last month after being granted permission to return to Ninian Park by Roy Keane.
Chopra will definitely remain with the Championship club until January, but Jones believes he will then be recalled by whoever replaces Keane in the Sunderland hot-seat.
"We will have to wait and see what goes on, who comes in and if they keep the same staff," he said.
"They can't call him back until the date that it's up. What normally happens is a manager comes in and wants to see all of the players at the football club.
"The other thing is whoever goes in will know the players because they are well established and on television a lot.
"It's just whether they fit the criteria for the manager that goes there."
