Cardiff City boss Dave Jones has urged his players to forget about the club's past glories when they run out for their FA Cup sixth round tie.
A 2-0 win over Wolves at Ninian Park sent the Bluebirds into the last eight of the competition for the first time since then won the FA Cup in 1927, but Jones wants his squad to focus on their own performance.
He told the South Wales Evening Post: "This football club in 1927 did brilliantly, but that's where it belongs. It's in the past in the museum.
"I said to the players to try and make their own history at this club and that's what they've done. But all they've done is get into the next round of the competition, there is still a long, long way to go.
"In all honesty I would like a home tie and I don't care who it is.
"If you're going to tell me it is going to be Manchester United, then I'm sure the chairman would want to be away because it would be 80,000 people.
"That's a lot of money in the coffers, it would be on TV, so there's more money, so maybe somewhere along the line I might be able to nick some off him to help our cause."
