Jones slams "foolish" Chopra
Cardiff manager Dave Jones felt Michael Chopra was "foolish" after the striker vented his frustration over the club`s current crisis.Chopra has seen City slump back into financial uncertainty having appeared to stave off the threat of a winding-up order last month following investment from a Malaysian consortium. The Bluebirds, who have lost Joe Ledley to Celtic, are currently under a transfer embargo and Jones is unable to bolster his ranks ahead of the August 7 kick-off.Chopra admitted he was "well hacked off" and "if this club doesn't bring in new players, I'm off".However, Jones was pleased with Chopra`s response in the 2-1 defeat by Notts County on Saturday although he had a word of warning for the player.Jones told the club`s official website: "Chops was foolish to say what he said. He thought he was helping out but he did it the wrong way - he knows he's made a mistake. It's been made a bigger issue than what it is - what we want now is to start hearing some positive things come out. There's so much rubbish being written about us at the moment in general."
