Jones relieved with victory

Cardiff City boss Dave Jones was delighted to end his side's winless run with Saturday's 2-1 victory at his former club Wolves - but disappointed none of the Bluebirds' fans were there to see it.
Jason Byrne's 88th minute goal, in his first appearance after arriving from Shelbourne in a £100,000 deal, plus an earlier strike from Michael Chopra ended City's miserable 12-game run without a victory.
"It was ironic that we won and our fans weren't here. I have never known an atmosphere like it. I thought it was dead," said Jones.
"My chairman, Peter Ridsdale, was sitting with me and he shouldn't have to be coming here on the bench. It is sad as Wolves are a great club but we didn't accept any hospitality at all.
"We looked very nervous before getting our noses in front but the players need to savour that win as it was a long time coming.
"We have played better than we did against Wolves and not won and that is how stupid the game can be.
"It's also the first game we have won since the new board came in so I am pleased for them as well.
"For Jason to come on and score on his debut was great as well. He is a real goalscorer.
"Hopefully, what we have been through over this spell will stand us in good stead."
