Jones pleased with strikers

Cardiff City manager Dave Jones has backed Robbie Fowler and Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink to become a lethal partnership after both strikers made their debuts in Tuesday's Carling Cup victory over Leyton Orient.
England Under-21 winger Peter Whittingham scored the only goal of the game in the second round victory over lower league opposition, but Jones believes his veteran strike partnership will become a force as they become more familiar.
"They are still two games away from flying, but we saw good runs and forward thinking off them," he said.
"They didn't score, but on another day they could have got a hat-trick each.
"The important thing was that they got 90 minutes each and they feel okay after it - although I think they'll be taking the lift not the stairs at the hotel!"
