Jones laments lacklustre display
Cardiff manager Dave Jones labelled his side's tired display in the 4-1 thrashing at Watford as their worst this season and again called for reinforcements to keep their promotion hopes alive. The Bluebirds saw Watford striker Danny Graham miss an early penalty before Peter Whittingham stroked them ahead against the run of play. But Jones' side - who were again without key strikers Craig Bellamy and Jay Bothroyd - struggled to get a grip of the game and saw Graham score twice on the way to a comfortable win for the Hornets.Cardiff will enter 2011 second in the table but Jones insists he needs to add to his squad to keep any chance of winning a place in the Barclays Premier League alive. He said: "At the end of the day it's probably our worst performance of the season. That's taking nothing away from Watford, but I think there were too many bodies out there that shouldn't have been."Even on the bench, it's kids and two of the players shouldn't have even been sitting on the bench but that's all we've got until we can strengthen and we're trying to get to that stage."
