Jones backed by Ridsdale

Cardiff City chairman Peter Ridsdale has ruled out the possibility of manager Dave Jones being sacked, despite the Bluebirds struggling near the foot of the Championship.
City have now lost just once in their last five games and Ridsdale is adamant that Jones is the right man for the Ninian Park hotseat.
He told the South Wales Echo: "I hope this puts to bed once and for all this nonsense about whether or not we are going to get a new manager.
"I was disappointed at the disruption that could have been caused by all the speculation a couple of weeks ago. But I think that has all been well and truly put to bed now.
"I'd like to remind everybody I was the one who came out and supported Dave in the first place.
"Now let's just concentrate on getting some points for the rest of the season. I'm a Cardiff supporter and I want to see us get as high up the table as possible.
"This is a very tight league and anyone that goes on a good run can get in the top six. We just need to make sure we are looking upwards, not downwards."
