Jones: Chopra could leave

Cardiff City boss Dave Jones has admitted he will struggle to keep Michael Chopra at Ninian Park in the summer should an offer come in for the club's top-scorer.

The former Newcastle United striker has scored 22 goals this season and recently agreed a new four-year deal with the Bluebirds.

But Jones has revealed he may be forced to sell the 23-year-old in the summer if Cardiff receive a large bid.

"Of course he might want to stay, but if someone comes in and the price is right, he would go," he said.

"I think, by signing the new contract, he's shown he does want to stay.

"But if a big club come knocking offering a lot of money, it can be hard to turn it down."
